Session 5: The Kogni Clan

General Summary

• Yuki notices a smell of decay wafting from the entrance of the entrance to the Kobold cave
• group decides that it's a better idea to leave Muggu outside
• Khafra puts Sylvester into his ring for the first time. Group sees him disappear into the ring for the first time
• group enters the cave. Khafra notices it's unnaturally cold
• they see a Hyena's corpse. No obvious sign of death, but it looks like it was running out of the cave when it died
• group finds a dead Kobold. Also no obvious sign of death, but a look of terror seems to be frozen on their face.
• Yuki goes to scout the cave. Finds more bodies.
• Air grows even colder, basically freezing - and the wall and Kobold body start to literally freeze over
• Fight with ghostly figures! 
• Yuki sees Khafra using fire to great effect, tries to reach it himself. There's no actual fire-y abilities, but he feels a spark of something
• After defeating the creatures, and gathering the bodies, Yuki goes to talk to Muggu, see if he wants to see the dead to know who is dead and who might still be out there. Muggu refuses, prefering the not knowing and being able to believe anyone could still be alive.
• The group asks about their funeral traditions and bury the bodies in a specific place, burning the tokens the Kobolds wear in the communal fire place. 
• Muggu and Tari say words and prayers over the fire
• Muggu asks for some time alone with the fire
• After Frank and Muggu talk, Muggu tells them he'll stay in Nessu, but if they come across any other clanless Kobolds, if they are from the Kogni Clan, to let them know where he is
• Straightforward travel back to Nessu, thanks to someone being proficient with navigators tools
• When Khafra wakes up in the morning and goes to check on Sylvester, hoping he hasn't eaten the carpets, he finds a slightly demolished room with some donkey droppings
• he also hears a voice asking "You know that this is not a stable, right?"
