Necromancy... Once a taboo, but legal, magical practice brought life back to the dead, unceremoniously dubbed The Undead. The Undead were vital in the wars of mortals, but were merely tools for their creators. This brought corruption, corruption brought an unprecedented amount of power to the few, with that famine and death besieged upon the rest. What followed next was an all out war between the powerful Necromancers of the long lost past and the deities that sought to root out this vile magical practice.
