Bilis Malakas (Bee-Liss Mah-La-Kass)

The Speed Demon

Bilis Malakas is a Legendary NPC boss. He borrows some elements from Toph's playbook; please see Wan Shi Tong's Guide Book p34. For Metal Armor, replace with Omashu Jennamite.  

DON OF THE HERALDS

  After being pushed by members of The New Flying Company to its limits, Malakas began to manifest Bilis within his body, becoming a human-spirit hybrid.   Bilis Malakas has Malakas' head with Bilis' rabaroo ears. Malakas' torso is connected to powerful Rabaroo legs and a long tail. His hands become huge and boxing-glove like. Parts of him are covered in Jennamite crystals, also known as "creeping crystals," which are native to Omashu.    Bilis Malakas is a fast opponent who relies on spotting their enemy by tapping into the earth and listening for vibrations through Seismic Sense.

Rapid Tunneling | Evade and Observe | Move to a new location with perfect precision, speed, and care, dodging past or knocking off balance anyone in your way. Mark 2-fa- tigue and move to a new location. Any enemies who were engaged with you or who you meet along the path, including at your destina- tion, are Impaired; they may mark 1-fatigue to avoid this status. You may immediately use one technique from the advance and attack approach when you reach your destination.   Crystal Armor | Defend and Maneuver | Wrap yourself in Jennamite crystals to create armor. Hold 4. Each hold may be spent—1-for-1—to ignore an entire attack inflicted upon you. You must spend hold—at least 1—whenever an incoming attack would hit you.   Paralyzing Strike | Advance and Attack | Make a single precise chi-blocking strike that temporarily paralyzes an enemy. Mark 3-fatigue, reduced by 1 for each paralyzed limb an opponent has, or for every two conditions an opponent has marked. Your target is immediately paralyzed, essentially Trapped. They can- not pay to escape the Trapped status until at least one full exchange has passed.
