Episode 11: Aoshi, the New Drug

Satomi and Tomomi prepare for their mission to procure materials to make a decoy ring, which will be used to swap out Don Malakas' ring during the heist. On their way, they stop to eat some Cabbage Soup at a stand, where they are greeted by the cook who tells them about Cabbage Day. 
Satomi and Tomomi split up to find the materials; Tomomi needs to find some gold to make the ring, while Satomi needs to find a similar jewel. Tomomi notices Rishi and Ishiko in the compound and they tell her about Ishiko's exposure to Omashroom, which is why he is high. She follows the cat owl in the direction of a small tent, where she meets a pirate. He offers to sell her the gold she needs, but she doesn't have enough money. She bargains, and he escorts her to a lair underground, where the Omashu black market is. There, they meet a chemist, who offers to give her the right kind of gold for the ring, if she procures a healthy amount of Omashroom for him and gives him a sample of Aoshi's venom. 
Tomomi returns to the Repolyo compound to tell Rishi and Ishiko and asks them to help her procure some Omashroom. Rishi becomes exposed and becomes high, but Ishiko is able to Earthbend Omashroom into a sealed box and tosses it over the tall fence. She gives them one serving of soup, which Rishi uses to heal his high. Ishiko later heals himself by eating at the festival. 
Tomomi returns to the black market and gives the chemist the Omashroom and a sample of Aoshi's venom. Combining them, he synthesizes a powder form of Omashroom, a purple substance that they call "Aoshi," after Tomomi's dragon viper. The dragon viper venom neutralizes the toxin in the Omashroom spores, which removes the high effect of the spores, instead giving the user a rush of adrenaline and focus. It is an inhalable powder substance that quickly spreads throughout Omashu. 
Tomomi acquires the gold she needs for the ring as well as a dragon viper mask from the black market. She stops by a weapons salesman to buy a new morning star. She meets Satomi in the crowd, who was not able to procure the jewel needed. They find an old man and rob him in an alley while Tomomi uses her viper dragon mask as a disguise. 
At noon, they arrive at the blacksmith's store, where they are greeted by his wife and young son. The blacksmith is sexist and creepy. He forces Satomi out after an altercation, and Tomomi is forced to paralyze him with Aoshi so she can use the blacksmithy to make the ring.
She successfully makes the ring and the two head to the palace to meet the team.
