Episode 17: Bilis, The Rabarroo Herald

Still in shock, Satomi collapses at the sight of Niya murdering the queen. Tomomi decides to leave her and join the fight, striking Niya with her mace, who doesn't flinch. Meanwhile, Niya uses Bloodbending to use The Omashu Queen and The Donya's bodies as human shields, before Ishiko is able to use Earthbending to bury them. He traps Niya on Earth pillars before Cobra Lily retaliates by Bloodbending him in place and trapping him with vines that start pulling on his limbs.
Jax uses a fire pinwheel on Qi-Rah, who narrowly misses it, setting the throne on fire instead. Fengyu pins Qi-Rah to the ground with a kunai while the flames begin to engulf the area around her. Kit makes it to Rishi just in time to heal him before Rishi is crushed by a wall of earth by Don Malakas.
Ishiko is able to free himself from Cobra Lily's Bloodbending grasp by launching an earth pillar that shocks him and pushes him away from danger. Away from the battle, the earth around Ishiko begins to heat up, giving him a sense of warming his chilled blood. Fengyu prevents Cobra Lily from pursuing Ishiko, while Rishi engages with her in retaliation. Niya is able to free herself from the earth pillar prison by draining water from the plants in the room, before healing Cobra Lily.
Cobra Lily frees Qi-Rah and puts out the fire with Waterbending. Tomomi is able to plan a surprise attack on the distracted Niya by slashing at her ankle with her katana laced with Aoshi's paralyzing venom. Jax heals Rishi again to allow him to crush the Don in rubble and taunt him. Rishi tells the Don that he's lost everything -- his wife, the queen, and his reputation, and asks him if it was all worth it.
The Don, admitting defeat, tells Rishi that he still has one thing left. He summons the spirit of Bilis, The Rabarroo Spirit, from his ring, one of Vaatu's Heralds. Together, they declare that they still have Vaatu's chaos energy. Bilis' emergence begins to shake the palace vigorously, crushing the Don under rubble. However, Bilis possesses the Don and transforms him into a towering spirit, Bilis Malakas.
Realizing that they cannot defeat both Bilis Malakas and The Strangers, The Celestials begin to retreat. Fengyu incapacitates Cobra Lily with the Aoshi powder. She begs for her sisters to rescue her, but they tell her that she should know the Celestial custom of leaving no prisoners behind before Qi-Rah sends a bolt of lightning toward Cobra Lily.

Episode Summary

• The Strangers, Don Malakas, and The Celestials continue their battle against each other. 
• Don Malakas is defeated and taunted by Rishi, which forces him to summon Bilis, the Rabaroo Herald. They fuse and become a towering monster "Bilis Malakas"
• The Celestials begin to retreat, but Fengyu incapacitates Cobra Lily. She begs for her sisters to get her, but Qi-Rah instead sends lightning bolt toward her.
