Episode 18: Transformation

Don Malakas becomes possessed by Bilis, the Rabaroo Herald, and becomes a towering monstrosity, Bilis Malakas. From above the palace, a Sky Bison appears, carrying two figures. The first figure, a masked woman, uses sonic Airbending to keep everyone grounded while the other figure, a muscular woman, uses Earthbending to lift Niya and the shocked Satomi from the ground. Cobra Lily attempts to escape with the women but is incapacitated by Fengyu. Realizing that she is a liability, Qi-Rah sends a bolt of lightning to eliminate Cobra Lily. Fengyu shields her with his body, electrocuting him in the process but avoiding a fatal blow because of his rubber armor. He is healed by Kit immediately, while Cobra Lily stabilizes his blood with Bloodbending.
The Strangers attempt to save Satomi from being kidnapped, but they are thwarted by The Celestials, who make their escape into the night. Bilis Malakas finishes his transformation, declaring that he will destroy Ba Seng Se himself and make Omashu the default capital of the Earth Kingdom. The Kitsune Spirit reaches from within Jax and transforms him into a new state as well. 
The group decides that their priority will be to thwart Bilis Malakas, and Cobra Lily temporarily calls a truce, but Ishiko puts cuffs made of earth around her wrist and legs, threatening to incapacitate her if she betrays them. She distracts Bilis Malakas to open him for a direct attack, but is entrapped by his Crystalbending. Jax and Rishi take turns hitting Bilis Malakas, while Ishiko is healed by Kit before he can attack. Tomomi is able to paralyze Bilis Malakas using Aoshi's venom due to him being a human-spirit hybrid, allowing the group to pummel him. 
Ishiko is able to use Crystalbending for the first time, freeing Cobra Lily from her entrapment, before joining the fight.

Episode Summary:

• Qi-Rah and Niya are rescued by two women on a Sky Bison, and they take Satomi with them. Qi-Rah tries to assassinate Cobra Lily, but she is thwarted by Fengyu, who shields Cobra Lily with his body. 
• Don Malakas transforms into Bilis Malakas and declares that he will destroy Ba Seng Se. 
• The Strangers fight Bilis Malakas, and Ishiko learns that he can Crystalbend.
