Shuma (Shoe-mah)

The Smuggler

Shuma is a mid-ranking nonbender member of The New Flying Opera Company. He is a forgetful yet wise older man from The Northern Air Temple. At some point Shuma became a smuggler of Air Nomad artifacts and relics, which he sold in the black market in Huijiang. 
Shuma formed a close bond with an Sky Bison which he named Bighead, who he raised in secret, as Air Bisons are meant to be bonded with an Air Bender. Together, Shuma and Bighead made a ton of profit from their smuggled goods. 
Eventually, Shuma was caught and he was banished from the Air Nomads. As an expert smuggler, and the only owner of an Ski Bison in the organization, Shuma made himself an important member of the cause.
