Personal history

Born to a high society family Duan, was raised in a great home and had great schooling. He did not see his parents often, so he saw his older brother as parental figure and copied all he did. The Tiaopi brother got along quite well and were very playful, to a sometimes problematic level. So Duan grew as a child who did not much care for schooling, however he did love to learn to earthbend, and was selected to participate in a demonstration at the games.
