Nearly as soon as the two nations made first contact, the Juvins had declared a holy war on the Dyr'Lathani. In their eyes, it was their divine purpose to exterminate the other inferior race. They refuse all attempts at negotiation, claiming they do not negotiate with infidels, and the war has gone on for hundreds of years. Though it often lulled in intensity, the Juvins would simply redouble their efforts after amassing more numbers. The long and arduous war has taken a great total on both sides, both in the massive loss of life and the hinderance it has caused to general advancement of their cultures and technology.
