Mechanics & Inner Workings

The SA-7 operates on a sort of "bullpup pistol" design that pulls rounds backwards out of the magazine instead of pushing them forwards before the slide closes and pushes the round into the chamber. This allows for a longer barrel length while retaining the shortness and maneuverability needed in a sidearm. Of course a longer barrel provides more accuracy. The pistol also features a trigger safety as well as a manual thumb-operated safety on the side that also toggles between semi and fully automatic.
