Composition
Manpower
there are usually around 30 SCALP groups romaing the galaxy at any time... a SCALP usually consists of around 20 to 30 men.
Equipment
the average SCALP trooper is lightly equipped with whatever weapons or armor they choose or have access to and have no standard uniform and generally wear civilian clothing.
Weaponry
Typically, SCALP troopers carry an array of Walren small arms but can also be seen with the weapons of many other races and factions.
Vehicles
each SCALP must aquire its own vehicles and ships. most often these are civilian vehicles.
Structure
each SCALP has one Chief... if this leader is killed, the trooper with the next most kills becomes the next Cheif. if the next is ties than those Troopers will fight to the death over it unless they agree on one of them to lead.
Tactics
the whole purpose of a SCALP is to hide amongst the civilian population of the galaxy and sow confusion and chaos in the enemies home territory to lower morale and effect the overall war effort. assassination, raids, sabotage, espionage and limited combat actions are all common activities of the SCALPs and guerrilla and hit and run tactics are both common.
Training
each SCALP trooper must have 200 kills to even be considered to be a recruit... the training is among the most difficult in the galaxy and includes being left in a life pod drifting in space for a year and being marooned on an incredibly dangerous world for a number of years. most recruits do not survive training and this is why there aren't many SCALP unit at any given time.
