Instead of oceans, many large lakes are peppered across the planet's surface. While hills of various size, almost always covered in trees, mountains are very rare. The trees make for a perfect environment for many different species of birds, resulting in the bird population numbering substantially more than any sentient beings. Culture: Ki’Yarians are very communal, usually forming groups of 3-5 families which then stay together for most of their short lives. These group of families usually live in the same tree residence, with the males sleeping on the outside structures to keep guard while the women and children reside within the safe confines of the bark. The most abundant food source on the planet is the birds, leading the locals to creating net trap contraptions that can spring out from the sides of their structures, catching swarms of Hantoo Birds for consumption. Military: The most common bird species on the planet, the Hantoo Bird, possess an organ that produces a highly poisonous liquid. The locals often harvest this organ, coating their blades and even bullets in the venom. This lends heavily to their common usage of assassins in leu of more traditional forms of warfare. Due to their skill in assassination, locals after often utilized by other nations to take out high value targets and the like, their much smaller size also making it substantially easier to sneak unseen into areas.
