Notes
The Starfellons continue their battle at the Hall of Parliment to stop the Purple Corsairs from storming the city and laying waste to the monster uprising. However, still more blue powder strangeness causes the walls to get sucked out into some kind of vortex. While the Starfellons survived the vortex, many of the allies (including Hezma Snuggins) were sucked up into the clouds.
Further, the blue powder causes the last remaining magic circle to malfunction, sending out blue balls of magic which strike the combatants and traps them in a living blue crystal. Things go from bad to worse when, trying anything he can think of to end the madness, Victor Vega covers himself in magical blue powder and steps onto a teleportation circle causing one final cataclysmic magical reaction. In an instant the group is entirely covered in blue crystal, frozen in place, and fall into a deep slumber.
The minds of the Starfellons are transported to a realm of dreams, where it is revealed that Alix Valdrah is some kind of dream soul stuffed into a flesh body to experience our world. Mother Valdrah arrives and explains that on Aventyr time is moving forward without them, that many years will have passed before they awake.
Then the group is set upon by Nightmares, violent dreamkind created by the rage, terror, and grief of those left behind on Aventyr, friends and family of the Starfellons. They defeat the nightmares and finally awake back on Aventyr, in a stone room, as prisoners, with blue metal rungs around their necks, and the sounds of fighting coming from beyond their prison door.
