2020-01-27 Maybe she's born with it... maybe she's Mabelane...
General Summary
"Attending to Tavor is a Halfling woman wearing a nice Emnish dress and possessing a lithe grace to her bearing. This woman was a dancer once. This was before she wore dresses like this. Back then she preferred traveling skirts and sleek riding boots. Her hair always smelled of campfire and she hated poetry - called it lazy. At every inn she stopped at on the World's End Road, everyone knew her. They would cheer whenever Mabelane the dancing girl had come to perform. Despite the metropolitan dress she wears, you can still see the girl you once knew. Of course, you're not like the man she would remember. You're broken and smashed and you are terrified she will see it." - from the annals of time.

Notes
The group spends some time requisitioning magical items with the money they have.
Back on the boat, King Ostrune and Dag Wood are present, labouring on the Der Saerpy and are disappointed to find that Talyrr has been spending time with a newer, more attractive gentleman in Drizzt Do'Urden. Then, in an attempt to find Talyrr within the Mirror of Life Trapping, Dag Wood is trapped in a cell.
The group determines that you can, in fact, trick the mirror into trapping an inanimate object within the mirror (or give to a currently visible occupant) by place an eye from a humanoid on it within view of the mirror.
As Talyrr is within the mirror, and as the only attuned individual, Talyrr is the only one who can release Dag Wood - so he's trapped there until her image happens upon the surface of the mirror or she decides to leave.
Frojoh Coilbane tells her sister, mother, and (step father?) Hogarth that she has not yet made a decision about which patron she should accept. She suffers admonishments and concerns from all those around her with bitter annoyance. Frojoh Coilbane also tells Hogarth that it's ok if he wanted to court her mother. Hogarth flatly refuses such a notion, for a slave would never dare to love a Lordess' mother.
In an attempt to get to know a little more about Book, the group decides to ask it questions. Frojoh Coilbane asks to see the Far-Realm Tear of which it speaks and Book obliges by plunging two spines into the temples and they free-base the realm of the Great Unseen Eye.
Barbarella defends Frojoh Coilbane from Book's apparent attack and Book shoots a disintegration ray at her. Ellywick "Periwinkle" Timbers kept the peace by flying Book overhead as a giant eagle. In the end, the friends decide to let Frojoh Coilbane do-her-thang so long as she is careful.
Frojoh Coilbane finds Xedna has been rendered unconscious by Aitor Quantic unguents because she is growing too violent. Aitor Quantic tells Frojoh Coilbane that he intends to wait as long as it takes for Frojoh Coilbane to accept him, even willing to spend the rest of his life married to Skimilk Coilbane . He also admits to having been courted by several entities, but he would prefer to remain loyal to Frojoh Coilbane.
The next night, the group assembles to compete in the Sandrin El'kasso. They find the Butterfly King is known to Ellywick "Periwinkle" Timbers as Corwin of Arkwright. Another Competitor, Tavor the Half Elf Valoran World Bards, seems to have some unknown source of hatred towards Ellywick "Periwinkle" Timbers.
The first portion of the contest was the Cordain Lux talent portion. Corwin of Arkwright went first trying to stack enormous throwing logs end on end but failed on his final attempt. He ended with a final score of 2/3. Moyra Bartle played her fiddle, increasing the number of bows and decreasing the number of garments she was wearing each time and ended with 2/3. Jeki Thistlebane dazzled the crowd with sleight of hand magic tricks and ended with 2/3. For her portion, Tavor performed a dance, then created a field of illusions who danced with her, and finally compelled the entire audience to dance. She ended with 2/3. Finally, Barbarella displayed her great physical prowess by lifting a donkey, a donkey and jockey, and then a donkey, jockey, and the rest of their squad. Barbie won the round with 3/3.
And this the session ended.
