Session 7: Dwarves, Bridges, and Halfling Parchment

General Summary

The 77th Squadron of Elturel’s Hellriders have been pulled into the hellish plane called Avernus, along with the entire city of Elturel. They are trying to make their way over to the High Hall, a cathedral on the West-side of the city that is understood to be a safehouse in times of turmoil. They are hoping to find two men taking refuge there, Thavius Kregg, the leader of Elturel and Ulder Ravengard, the Grand Duke of Baldur’s Gate.
The 77th have split into two groups, looking for any survivors as they travel to safety. As they make their way through the city, they save three dwarves from a collapsing building. They try to trick giant gold, non-speaking baby-faces guards, who are patrolling a bridge…that went well…The group also saves a Halfling from selling the souls of his family to a devilish-imp…and finally get within view of the High Hall, only to see four shady figures entering a residence. The group decides to investigate…
With the journey to the High Hall almost complete, the dangers of the city may be coming to an end. However, every moment that passes, the group feels Elturel getting pulled closer and closer to the surface of the nine hells…where a war between Devils and Demons intensifies.
