Session 8: Bocephus Num-Nums

General Summary

The 77th rescued (and probably scarred) a little girl named Shorah from a group of Ghasts who were feasting on her parents. Even after some incredibly strange conversations, she immediately became attached to Red as the group vowed to keep her safe.
Upon nearly reaching the High Hall, the group started to question the motivates of Sylvira and why she will not open her puzzle cube. She states that only a specific individual is powerful enough to open it, but she promises the contents inside are damning to Thavius Kregg. Reya, the Hellrider’s commander, does not believe what Sylvira is saying about Elturel’s “savior."
During this conversation, Maribelle is able to swipe the cube from Sylvira’s bag and get it over to Nessa, in hopes that the tinkerer will be able to solve the puzzle. At the steps leading up to the cathedral, the group finds two members of the 83rd squadron. They give a powerful memorial to the fallen, complete with taps being played by Lulu…only find more corpses in the doorway…Before being able to inspect them, Nessa accidently sets off a magical Necrotic bomb trap placed on the bodies. The group remains hopeful that they can find survivors of Elturel taking refuge here in the High Hall, and that Thavius Kregg and Ulder Ravengard are with them.
