With the fall of the Eternal Empire, a plan came to fruition. A gateway to the Daemon realm was torn op in what would become the Badlands of Alus. Daemons poured out of it and slaughtered people across the continent. The Lone Wanderer disappeared around the same time, leading people to believe he caused this and the rise of other Malefactors. Eno and a group of adventurers put a stop to this at the end of the 9th century.
