The Eternal Empire

An Eternal rose up to conquer the world, only to be defeated by a group of heroes and the Protector of Avestra from the south and the Lone Wanderer from the north. It signaled the first and last time Eternals would ever attempt to become leaders of mortal empires as Ano and Eno chose to make it a rule and anyone who attempts to once again will face their combined wrath.

The Eternal Emperor was an Eternal who had grown to love mortalkind. However, he grew disenfranchised with their habit of heading into their demise. And to see some many lovely lives and wonderful cultures die out. He couldn't stand it any longer. as a result, he chose to unite all of mortalkind under one banner and he started in the Alus Region. While he swept across the country easily, he caught the attention of Eno the Protector and Ano the Lone Wanderer. The former was against this viewpoint since mortals should rule over themselves. Meanwhile, Ano didn't display an opinion one way or another at first, being distance and supposedly causing chaos himself.   However, he soon came around as he came about in Northern Alus and roused the giants to stand against the Eternal Emperor. Meanwhile, Eno helped form a coalition of different nations alongside a group of adventurers, serving as their advisors. Both groups pincer attacked the Eternal Empire and the Eternal Emperor abdicated his throne. He returned to Aeternum at Eno's request to heal from the trauma he suffered from his time on Avestra.   However, his empire was just a ruse by other forces unknown to him. And the fall of his empire caused an invasion of Daemons upon the surface of Avestra, the disappearance of Ano, and the rise of the Fell Dragon
