The Blue Book
The Blue Book contains the world's secrets, some of which will never see the light of day. Like its sister, the Orange Book which lists the people protected by The Nest, the Blue Book contains information that is protected by The Nest and cannot be sold by The Feather.
This may be as simple as the name of a person or object of which all information is off limits, or perhaps one small piece of information that cannot be let out. For some, the book states what should be sold as false information if someone inquires though it is rare as doing so to often would hurt The Nest's reputation.
Though it is called a book, the information is actually stored in a magic stone held by The Magpie.
Purpose
The Blue Book was created as a record for what information The Nest is protecting and therefore can't give out as well as what, if anything, should be sold instead.

Historical Details
Public Reaction
No one outside of The Feather knows what is in the book and most of those within the organization only know the bare minimum and not the specific information that is being protected. However, many people show interest in this 'book of secrets' and many can't help but speculate about what information is contained within.
I wouldn't be surprised if it said that the crown prince wasn't actually the child of the king. The only people who know are the queen and The Nest. I just can't help but wonder what sort of juicy gossip is locked away in there.
