Mabara Guildhall

It is a truly impressive guildhall. It looked like a recreation home for the Prince of Avistar, which it likely was before Centrum's independence from Avistar. The building is now adorned with the emblem of the Mabara Guild, and various rich merchants come and go from its premises.
— Artur Neha, Traveler

Overview

The Mabara guildhall use to be a recreational retreat for former Avistarian elected monarchs formerly called the Partido Palace. Now it is the headquarters of the Mabara Guild as well as the home of the Mabara family. Since the guildhall is a repurposed palace it is the most elaborate guild headquarters on Visus Island.

Guildhall Guard

Much of the outer perimeter wall that protected the former palace remains in place, and was rebuilt in places. Additionally, the Mabara family hires their own personal guard to protect the guildhall. The guards make use of the hall's gates, walls, and towers. The guards are either experienced Centrum Guardsmen hired for skills they have demonstrated in the line of duty or have bought their way into the guard for the prestige of it due to proximity to the wealthiest family in Centrum.

Gardens

It wouldn't have been much of a palace without a garden or two scattered throughout the premises. These gardens remain and are well-cared for. They have to be as several business meetings throughout the week are often hosted in the gardens. Keeping a garden healthy and tidy reflects well on its owner. To this end, the Mabara family made sure they hired some of the best gardeners on the continent. Most of these gardeners come from the Fleur tribe on the continental island of Dammerung.
