Nishinami Thalassocracy

Overview

An isolationist state that wanted to remain withdrawn from world affairs. Why exactly this policy was pursued, no one can say for sure. Information from the now conquered thalassocracy is scarce. Most believe that they simply wished to live through the sun setting of the long standing Onami Thalassocracy in peace. It was believed that the decline could not be stopped and was a natural phase of existence for a sovereign state. The more militarily minded eastern neighbors did not agree and so they formed the Azumanami Thalassocracy to challenge Nishinami. In 1128AGC, the Nishinami Thalassocracy was conquered by the Kingdom of Helia.
The Nishinami Thalassocracy was located in the western region of the Shizukana Sea.
