Overview
Throughout all of Axeram's history, there have been whisperings about the mark of Ven. Both prophets and madmen have spouted riddles and sentences in reference to the mark. Each time it has been told different bar one similarity. That when the Mark of Ven is seared into flesh and bone, the foundations of the world will crumble and burn. However, there are many discrepancies in the other details. Some claim that only veldren or mortals will receive the mark. Some state-specific numbers, whilst some say all. The vagueness of the remarks has led to the tale been constituted as madness. Yet, records are still kept of each random prophecy or mad rambling.
History
Throughout history, there have been hundreds who have prophesied the mark of Ven. Many believe there would be more if there wasn't such a stigma around the tale. Scholars who hear such ramblings instantly lose trust consider the speaker mad. The most recent recorded person to speak new prophecies on the mark of Ven is
Elandriel the maniacal mage. Many of the people who have spoken to them say that they speak new verses to the prophecy and that they're the most ominous ones yet. Stating that the mark of Ven shall be the herald of madness.
Record
Despite the mark of Ven being prophesied for thousands of years, even early on in the Ven era, there has been no proof that it has ever existed or ever will. There's never been anything close to what the prophecies describe. At first when
The Guardians ascended some assumed that they possessed marks of Ven but there was never proof nor confirmation from the guardians themselves.
