Astrakar's Wraps

For those that aspire to the ways of the Sola Estada, Astrakar is the famous of its followers.

Astrakar

Astrakar was a human who lived during the Age of Conflict. The exact dates vary but he generally features in tales towards to end of that age, just prior the 10 year winter. Though human, he seems to persist across a time period longer than most human live, as such, he is given towards many fanciful stories that paint him as something perhaps more than human.   He is noted as being prescribed to the Sola Estada way of life, one of the earliest beings recorded as doing so. For many, he is the first thought when talking about the image of a warrior monk and reputedly able to start and end a fight in one blow. He is said to have been incredibly just and fair - and so revered in the days since by follower of Odum, the god of order, also, only resorting to violence as a last resort.

The Wraps

The appearance of Astrakar's Wraps vary from tale to tale. In some, they are as plain as the bandages used to treat wounds and in other they made of golden cloth. The only constant is that Astrakar is never described without them adorning his hands. Debate also follows on whether the wraps themselves held and special power or if Astrakar's supposed abilities came entirely from himself.   Regardless of their power, it is said the monks of the Santua ol'Sola Estada have this artefact amongst their collection of protected artefacts. However, like all items potentially under their care, this has not and will never be confirmed by them.

Sola Estada

Astrakar prescribed to the Sola Estada way of life. In short, this means focusing on the ultimate truth. One should listen to all and be true to other and oneself. Astrakar's reported demeanour is a perfect example of this ideal.
