Entaba Melilo
Overview
Entaba Melilo, the Voice of Vulkarna, was a villain during The Cataclysm War. Born in the southern town of Ebebuzo, he was spiritual leader amongst the community there, with great interest in the lands deep mystical stories, prior to his encounter with the entity that corrupted him. He is regarded as one of the most significant villains of the conflict, and the second most dangerous that operated on the continent of Thrabad, only behind Grundak, the Brown Dragon that targeted that continent.History
Before the War
Born and raised in Ebebuzo, the largest town in the south of Djakoro, Entaba always felt a connection to the land around him. He felt its needs. Over time, he became a respected spiritual leader in the area, often conducting local rituals that revolved around the land itself.During the War
Under the belief that the Brown Dragon, Grundak, was connected to mythical histories of the land, Entaba began a quest to seek out obscure texts and scrolls that may unlock further secrets that Djakoro may hold. He sought out old tales of great beings, in the hope that he may persuade them to their cause, to defend against Grundak. He ended up crossing the boundary, into the The Khena Empire, in his search for Bernijah, a supposedly benelovent dragon. He was successful in that particular endeavour, as Bernijah became a protector of Thrabad and a long-term nemesis for Grundak (before eventually besting him in the last year of the war). Entaba, though, continued his quest. In doing so, he stumbled upon a secret cave in which he made contact with an ancient elemental spirit of fire. Unfortunately, the deal he made in that cave cost him his soul. From that day forward, he gradually slipped under the control of the entity he made a pact with, eventually becoming the self-proclaimed 'Voice of Vulkarna'. Some believe the entity may have been a lingering remnant of the banished fire goddess herself.Death
The Voice of Vulkarna bore down on Djakoro's capital of Kitinike around a year before the war's end. Backed with a small army of nascent elementals, he was welcomed by Djakoro's own army. Naturally, the army could do little against the elementals, but the city's magical adept helped on that front. Entaba Melilo, ironically, was ultimately felled by the dragon he once sought out to protect Thrabad. Bernijah fulfilled that duty, with much regret, in taking Entaba's life.
