Falco Thunukalathi

Overview

Falco "Skywatcher" Thunukalathi is an Altaran who, as party of an adventuring party, was present at multiple events during the year 584PC, culminating in Etta Maxime's vanquishing of her father, Arman Justor.

History

Saviour

Born and raised in Brinewatch, Falco settled into life there. His family are devout, but remarkably they all worship different deities, primarly. Falco acquired a fondness for one of the main focuses of Brinewatch: Essina, the goddess of wind. Early in 584PC, on an evening walk up to the lighthouse, he stumbled upon a young woman who looked like she might be contemplating something drastic there. Falco managed to talk her down, and discovered she was Lara Justor, daughter of Arman Justor.
Lara was in much distress that even due to her father's overbearing nature and her sister, Etta Maxime, running away and becoming a pirate. With no one to be the buffer, Lara couldn't take much more. However, Falco's kindness earned her a confidante, and that relationship became something more. Due to Arman Justor's position, he desired a husband for Lara that would secure their position in society and Falco was not that. They managed to keep their relationship secret for a few months, but when they were discovered, Falco was chased out of Brinewatch by Justor's enforcers.

Adventurer

Falco ultimately found himself in Ullford, where alongside Jraxler Rahman, Soldunn Darkhold and Katakeleo Galadonel, he became wrapped up in the events leading up to and culminating in the Feast of Plenty Attack on Ullford by Cyrind. Those four individuals, including Falco, became an adventuring party.
Together, those four fought The Woodland Raiders a second time, investigated the ruins of Fior Equa and rescued the archaelogical expedition and its The Grey Scales escort from the prisons of an underdark castle, causing a local uprising from the town of Obskarv in the process against its tyrannical leaders. Shortly before that expedition he and Katakeleo underwent a trial accessed via the mysterious unfinished tower in River's Fork (which has no door). There, he officially became a Dion'dia - a Chosen of the Gods, for Essina, with Katakeleo.
From River's Fork, they journeyed back to Brinewatch, took to the seas with an old ally Amber Thunderfury and met up with Etta Maxime. Etta utilised the party to help her force her way through the permanent storm around the Eastern Isle of Aldenia to investigate a ghost town on the other side. There, they delved into a secret prison, perhaps a portal to another plane. Falco and the others rescued a man from this frozen place, where time seemed to function differently. Upon escaping with this person, the adventuring party realised this man was Nico Salvadore, an individual from The Cataclysm War. Etta Maxime is a chosen for Tidur, the god of water, and with Nico's rescue, it became apparent that Nico was the other.
Returning to Brinewatch with Nico, Falco, the party and Etta confronted Arman Justor at a social event, where it was revealed that he was host to a shadowy fiendish entity. Justor had made a pact many years ago, and was the cause of Dockworker's Disease, which had afflicted the town for two decades. Justor, and the entity, were vanquished.

Now

Following Justor's demise, Falco returned to the quiet life whilst he could, enjoying his time with Lara but knowing fully that he may be called upon, as a Chosen, at any point.
