Mines of Gemenno (Mines of Gem-en-oh)

The mines of Gemenno are located beneath the dwarven city of Achthrastin in the Kyonrach Mountains. The mines contain a plethora of riches, from precious metals, to valuable stone and raw materials, to arcane crystals. 
In the areas of the mine where crystals grow minewhales have been spotted, leading to a Whaleguard squadron being stationed in Achthrastin in order to ensure the safety of these rare creatures. As a result, crystal mining is done with care, so as not to harm the whales and to ensure that at least some of their habitat remains and can repopulate the caverns with crystals.
