Tomb Shellfish

This shellfish is highly sought for its white shell, which once crushed into a fine powder is used to varnish the tombs of rich aristocrats. While the shell is completely unremarkable apart from its dying capabilities, the animal itself has enough poison to kill a small army. While the poison doesn't last more than 3 minutes when exposed to the air and therefore makes it impossible to use by assassins, it also makes it hard to safely harvest the shell safely, which is partly responsible for its market price.
