Kitken
A race of diminutive cat-like creatures, the Kitken are rare in numbers and often considered a myth. They mimic human like culture, armor, and clothes, but haven't quite nailed down modern construction, living in huts and tents.
The Kitken are very curious about the outside world and will approach small groups or single strangers, but will not settle close to towns or cities for fear of endangerment. Despite their cute and often disarming appearances they are skilled combatants.

Naming Traditions
Cat puns ("Clawse", "Pawsington", "Meowrtha"). Generally they have only a first name, and will commonly tack titles either before or after their name to extend it. If they meet someone with a name they are particularly fond of, when that person leaves they may find a way to absorb it into their name, either as a last name, title, or an amalgamation of their own.
Gender Ideals
Gender is a foreign concept to the Kitken. While they acknowledge there are males and females, that is generally as far as that will go. Men and women dress how they please and interact as equals. This, however, is done out of ignorance and not an acknowledged need for equality.
Common Myths and Legends
Beyond the Kitkens being mythological creatures themselves, they also have stories passed around. Their stories are, however, stolen from other adventurers that have wandered by and told them tales from their hometown. It is not uncommon to hear a familiar story, but with the names swapped for Kitken names.
If called out they will admit to stealing the story, but insist it -could- have happened, and because of that it's a great story.
Wonderful read! Great choice of pictures, they're extremely adorable. I like how the article doesn't drag on. It's concentrated worldbuilding and it's very nice to read :D3
Thank you. I may revisit this article and expand upon it at a later time, so it may get a bit longer.
I'll look forward to that! Added to reading list ^-^
