Rageleaf Cannibals

While definitely not organized, nor an organization in the traditional sense, they are well known enough by the world to be considered a singular unit like a country. It is a group of humanoids located in the southwestern jungles that are infected by Rageleaf Madness which comes from a plant common to the region. They can be recognized by their crimson eyes, generally frothing mouths, and babbling words, mostly incoherent with a few recognizable among the madness. Extremely hostile, crazed, and unable to be reasoned with, these terrifying cannibals add a new depth of horror to an otherwise tension filled junglescape. A common practice is not to eat their victim right away, and instead to drag their unconscious or helpless body back to a 'feast pole' where they tie them to a large post and huddle close to eat them alive. These horrific effigies can be spotted, abandoned with torn into bodies, about the jungle.

Structure

To join

Why someone would want to join is anyone's guess, but if compelled, simply eating the rageleaf fruit and submitting to Rageleaf Madness is enough. This, of course, means forfeiting one's will and becoming the equivalent of a rage filled zombie, but fellow cannibals will not be compelled to eat the new recruit and, as an effect 'accept' the newest into their ranks.

Remaining structure

There is no organization. While there are huts and lean-tos, likely from earlier attempts to settle, these are useless to the cannibals who, instead, roam in a stomping ground like pathway. The only thing that keeps them from preying on one another is the nature of the parasite within them. While larger cannibals are more intimidating and probably more noteworthy, there are no leaders, no hierarchy of titles, and no difference in the eldest of the group than the youngest.

Public Agenda

There is no public agenda. Most people recognize these cannibals as more beast than man and should be put down on sight. They exude no coherent intentions.
