The Bradendale Pig Show
Bradendale, once a year, hosts a pig competition where people from neighboring towns will bring their prize sow and have them be judged.
The winnings are modest at best, but bragging rights are the true prize.
History
Bradendale has always raised pigs from the moment of settling, mostly to feed the population as well as meager offerings for trade. Because of how small the village is, each person knew the other, and knew what pigs were being raised, leading to comments such as 'That pig is looking nice and fat. Gonna be fine eatin's, ain't they?'
These compliments became the pride of pig owners, and soon a friendly competition was proposed and staged, marking it as the first annual pig show.
Components and tools
Other than the five silver buy-in and a pig, there are no other components required. Spectators often bring food to feed the pigs after the show. The children enjoy feeding and playing with the pigs.
