Hiram River (high-rum)

This river is one of the dividing lines between the Toldrun See and their neighboring kingdom of Skerritt. For reasons not quite understood, this river is one of the few things the See has not tried to rename in the few centuries since its inception. Both the See and the kingdom of Skerritt recognize the historical name of the Hiram River and its status as the border between both kingdoms.
In recent centuries, this river has seen many invasions launched back and forth across the two kingdoms, as part of the Dwarven Civil War. Both kingdoms have several frontier/border forts along this river, several miles away in the forests and grasslands of either side. Several hundred miles after leaving the Legobar Mountains this river forks, with the western part continuing to serve as the border until it reaches the Yaegar Ocean, while the eastern fork continues through the heart of Skerritt and eventually meets the Gulf of Viskii.
