The Cracked Hoof Inn
Purpose / Function
The Cracked Hoof is an inn that sits two-hours' walk from the village of Cirrane in Nairiume. It's main purpose is currently to give meals and shelter to travelers who are unable to reach the village's inn due to weather, approaching nightfall, illness, or any other concern.
History
The Cracked Hoof was built before the inn at Cirrane was planned, and also before the nearest waystations that dot the roadsides across Nairiume. Though those waystations have resulted in a significant decline in business for the Cracked Hoof, it still offers the benefit of a hot meal, a comfortable bed, and entertainment. It is currently run by Evanphira and Reeya, who purchased the inn in 560 TE. Both owners have excellent cooking skills, and Reeya is said to have a lovely singing voice and great skill with multiple stringed instruments.
