Demographics
The people of Bridge-Bolt are mostly humans. There are a few of the other uplifted races, but the majority of those who live permanently in the town are human. Upon occasion, due mostly to the monastery, other evolved races live in Bridge-Bolt. However, these individuals typically move away from the town should they leave the monastery for more urban or wilder environs.
Government
As is typical for Humans, and as condoned by the Law, Bridge-Bolt is managed by a council of socially powerful citizens. Seats on the council are determined by the net value of an individual’s worth as determined every 5 years at the Pentenial Accounting. The nine most worthy citizens gain seats.
Infrastructure
Bridge-bolt is a moderately sized town. It has all of the amenities that are required for a comfortable life for it’s citizens and the following structures of interest:
The Five Bridges: Crossing the river that runs through the middle of the town can be done over one of the Five Bridges, well four of the five. The Fourth Bridge is broken and is thusly named.
Civic Buildings: To the north and west of the Broken Bridge are the civic buildings. These three large buildings encircle the Court Yard of Civility.
The Monastary: In the south of Bridge-Bolt is the Monastary of Lost Children. Yes, its an orphanage run by a small order of Monks of the Blackhand. They have a large area of land which goes right up to the wall which they farm by hand.
Poofing Pegasus (Emblem - a pudgy farting Pegasus): Is a famous inn and tavern on the river front. It is the most expensive inn in the city and the oldest. It was started by a human named Je’la Den, who was a retired perfumer (one who makes perfumes). The Inn opened in the 434th of 56347th Rs and for centuries has maintained its impeccable standards of food, entertainment and accommodation. The inn is notable because are sent themed. Additionally, the Poofing Pegasus is the first inn of the Pegasus franchise that has spread through out the Glaze. Other famous Pegasus Inns include:

The Week of Spending: (first week of spring): This week long festival occurs to celebrate the new year. Thousands of people flood into Bridge-Bolt to explore and shop throughout its stores and out door markets. Block and blocks of streets are turned into vibrant and musical shopping districts. It seems that almost every citizen decorates and attempts to sell something. Maybe its a simple trinket they’ve had for years, but have no need of, or perhaps its a expertly crafted tool designed to display their skill during this week long festival.
The Week of Giving: (first week of fall): Each year when Devouring Mother tours the Realm she comes to Bridge-Bolt. The week before she arrives is the Week of Giving. During this week the citizens of Bridge-Bolt and the surrounding area of the Glaze gather together in small community groups to exchange gifts. The gifts are often hand crafts or other small tokens to indicate their gratitude for their neighbors and the community. In this way The prosperity of the realm is shared, and each citizen is reminded of the small role they play in making the realm better each year through their sacrifice of Ee-Loque.
Missing Light Festival: (the evening the Consorts are dark.) Each month on the night when the two Consorts are new the citizens of Bridge-Bolt have a quite intimate celebration with their families commemorating those whom they know who have entered the Faid. A meal is typically had that is festive and featuring foods favoured by those being remembered, and memorabilia that the family has is taken out and displayed.
