Twal'erajek Lýsin'

Textile Illumination

As you can see I have made my way to an outpost of Her Glory and Civility, the small village of Tirkila. I can state that suggesting the younger Tourists spend time in exploring the Why of Things as understood by the Jurrakic Order is one that lends directly to an increased chance of their personal safety and wellness. A Jurrakic understanding has been very helpful in my travels through the Northern wilderness.

The people of Tirkila are good citizens. They embrace Her Wisdom of hard work leading to prosperty. They have a variety of industries that support thier community and significant influence with the surrounding rural people. What I find interesting is that they had a unique profession that has suffered the fate of those industries that no longer provide value to the Realm regardless of how intriquing or unique they are. Perhaps exactly for those reasons, now gone? I do recall an intesesting document from an acedemic scholar of financial sciences. When I return to Virr-La I will have to find that document and review it.
But, I wonder.... the profession of - Twal'erajek Lýsin', was an old profession when it ceased to be in the year 50,023Rs. Converastions with the people of Tirkila indicate that it was a highly respected profession requiring great skill. Through the use of dies for colouration, various qualities of threading for texture, and traditional sewing techniques the Textile Illuminator would create artistic representations of a person's significant life events. The clothing was so well imbelished, and that "wonderous" would not be a adequete word to accuratly describe the work that the Twal'erajek Lýsin' were doing.
I have seen the work that has been kept by the familes of Tirkila and it is exquisite.
The families have kept these hierlooms for generations. Some have made attempts to repair the work, but it is clear that the repairs are not even close to comparabe in skill to the original work.
I attempted to purchase a sample for the museum, but it was not possible. I have as a reference, merely, included sketches. I will most likely return to Tirkila. The skill of the of the Twal'erajek Lýsin speaks to me of the Why to be Revealed.
