Human
Humans are an intelligent mammalian species, perhaps the most ubiquitous form of people across most regions. Adaptable and quite culturally diverse, they form the majority population of Korisgana, Anibat, Satarhat, Selenistan, and Muharadesh. It can be somewhat difficult to describe humans, as they tend to be the baseline from which most judgements of species capabilities are made.
Civilization and Culture
Major Organizations
Numerous cultures and states exist that are either human in origin or heavily dominated by humans. Generally speaking, humans can be divided into seven cultural groups- the Satarhati, Muhara, Narmanistani, Koris, Anibati, Yakaga, and Vira, though the last is something of a catch-all for those outside the first six.
Though politically marginal there are dozens of distinct Vira tribes, the most notable being the Dirpasati and Tohupasati in Satarhat, the Vira-Alani in Anibat, the Daliari in Selenistan, and the Dradukia in Muharadesh.
History
Humans were first created by the goddess Alati along the banks of the Barasangi River in Satarhat. These original humans are known as the Elder Vira. Though one of the youngest sentient species, humans quickly spread through much of the area, though they never developed a strong presence on the southern coast. Elder Vira were nomadic,
As they spread, distinct cultures developed. Many cultures continued something not far removed from the Elder Vira lifestyle, others began construting cities and creating states, with the former group being collectively termed 'Vira'. Many cultural groupings of humans now exist with their own overlapping histories.
