Azar
In the beginning, there was nothing but Azar, the totality of existence. Eventually, pieces of Azar found ways to assert their independance and identity, becoming the gods. Dredging up loose concepts from the undefined parts of Azar, they built the world and created mortalkind, but all that truly seperates mortals from gods is the ability to maintain a single identity instead of reincarnating- the barrier between divine and mortal, mundane and magical, all are inherantly flexible.
Azar is a high fantasy world heavily inspired by the cultures of South Asia, but taking additional inspiration from throughout the world as well as many original elements, creating a world centered around ten regions, each with their own peoples and histories.
