Sami Ren

General Sami Ren (a.k.a. The Black Lotus)

General Sami Ren was a Shado-Pan solider, raised by the order from her infancy to fight the battles other Pandaren never could. She is a master of the blade, and a supreme tactician. General Ren saw the collapse of the Serpent's Spine, and in doing so she failed her sacred duty to watch the wall of Pandaria and protect the land. She lost one of her greatest friends, Thalrian Guilderglade, and in this loss also witnessed to capture of losing of her step-son Ru, the son of Gymer. Gymer and Sami turned to the ancient Tuskaar rite of Beserkir, following the path of a victorious enemy, and turned to the sha. Gymer went deeper down this path, Ren turning away and freeing herself. Not having the strength to free Gymer from his corruption, a defeated and vulnerable Sami Ren went into hiding.
