Alrighty,
  Previously you had just escaped from the Iron Prison under the Steel Citadel, waking out disguised as Iron Legionnaires. As you left the gates of the imposing castle, Trip heard a snuffling sound. Approaching with caution, he soon discovered the sound came from his animal companion Adolphus who was eagerly trying to dig its way into the Iron prison to save its master. With Trip and Dolf reunited, Javier suggested you follow him to a safe house to get off the dangerous streets of Goxim. During the trek, Javier handed Liliana the skull key and the encoded journal he stole from an office inside the Steel Citadel. He told her it was a great importance and could change the power dynamic of the continent. Javier then led you to the Greasy Night Inn, a downtrodden dilapidated-looking place that looked close to a commonplace part of Goxim. Fortunately, the inn wasn't closed. However, instead, a young woman comes out to greet you. After slightly disagreeing with Javier, the woman, Lala Solv, ushers you into the inn. Despite its rundown appearance, she leads you into a secret room, where she explains to you that she is an agent of the Bronze Ravens. After a good night's sleep, you find Lala preparing breakfast. You gathered around the table to figure out your next moves. Javier, your irascible captain, explained to escape from Goxim, you needed several things: money for gear and supplies, then identification papers and writs of release for a ship, a crew, and then a ship. Lala offered to help with the money situation as long as you did a favor for her in return, which was to free a group of enslaved people outside the city. With plans made, you headed out. On the way to the blacksmith, you witnessed a pair of Legionnaires harassing a poor goblin. Thinking quickly, Lilliana disguised herself as a Sargent of the Iron Legion and ordered the two soldiers back to the castle. She then offered the Greasy Night Inn as a place of refuge for the goblin. After rescuing the poor goblin, you went out to secure gear for your adventures haggling with the various shopkeepers and blacksmiths and selling off the things you stole from the guards you murdered inside the Iron prison. Once you were ready, you decided to visit the permit office. Amillina and Lilliana tried to convince the clerk to hand over some identification papers. Cleverly Lilliana disguised herself as a Leigon Captain to acquire two identification papers but no writs of release. With no other options, the party decided to wait until everyone left before breaking into the office. Nakoma went into the sewers and waded through filth and feces to emerge through the permit office latrines into the building. Then they let in the rest of the party, who went about securing the materials needed to create permits and identification papers while also defiling the lunch of one of the office's scribes. Then the party waited for the next patrol to pass before leaving the building, while Nakoma locked the doors and headed back through the sewers to escape
