Animas

The entering of the Material is a truly selfish act, and sows the seeds of Evil within a Spirit, poisoning their very being. The entering of a deal or the rituals of a trained priest are the only ways to free the Spirit from its Agony
  According to the scriptures of St. Lucia, an Animas is created when an unchanging Divinitas emerges into our realm from the Realm of Divine Creation. This act alone infests the Divinitas with a figurative "seed of change" which grows slowly throughout their being. Unless they are assisted by a priest or guided by the hand of mortals, this "seed" will eventually lead to incredible agony as it grips their ethereal being, transforming them into hungry demonic creatures.   Unlike their Divinitas counterparts, Animas not only exist within the Mortal Realm but also are shaped by the humans they come in contact with. Through these interactions, Animas gain more animalistic forms, becoming deitic spirits of places, locations, or even concepts.   How the Animas are treated by humans differs across the world, however many nations who follow St. Lucia's Iternitus Magna, as well as the Sagacitas Pallam
