Mettenese Steel

Ask anyone about the city-states of Mettenheim, and they will mention its steel. Once solely found within the volcano of old Mettenheim city, it is now scattered about the country side due to apocalyptical events of the Second Fall.
While it is enchantable, it feels, appears, and is as hard as normal castle-forge steel. However, it is only half as light, making it a valuable material for armies worldwide, and giving the Mettenese a constant flow of coin and prestige.
A common use for Mettenese steel is to create weapons of overly large size called buster weapons, used to cut slay large beasts; horses, ogre, giants, and more. The Mettenese militaries almost exclusively equip their soldiers with mettenese weaponry, often frontlining buster wielding warriors to cut down soldier and horse alike.
