Aasimar

Since the passing of the Divine Era, the Sentinels chose a select few mortals to serve as intermediaries between the Divine Realm and the Prime Material Plane. These champions have interfered in mortal affairs for the last millennium. They have chosen specific individuals over the thousands of years whom the gods have designated as champions. These individuals are known as Aasimar. Some take their divine heritage as a sign for greater things. Many Aasimar turn to adventure and help people. Others bulk against the will of their selector and fall from grace.
