The Falboian Blood War
The Falboia Highlands region of Aunera was wild and untamed for centuries. The rugged terrain made travel difficult, and farming nearly impossible. Throughout the region, the tribes and settlements that made their homes here competed with one another for resources and prime spots of land. Several grew in size and power, eventually growing large enough to exert power over their neighbors in the highlands. The conflict eventually grew so violent it could no longer be ignored by the rest of the world. The last twenty years of intense open warfare became known as the Falboian Blood War.
The war was ultimately stopped by Kratus Praxxis and a fleet of Praxxis airships at the behest of the High Elves. Once the fighting had been halted, Kratus Praxxis was charged with the governance of the region, and thus the Kingdom of Kratus was founded.
The Conflict
Prelude
Over time, the conflict between the factions in the Highlands grew to the point where neighboring Kingdoms could no longer ignore them, and thus the Falboian Blood War was engaged.
Deployment
There is much debate about the actual start date of the Falboian Blood War, as there is no record of any true time of peace in the region. Periods between open conflict were filled with skirmishes and raids. Even declared battles were difficult to define, as there were few areas in the region large enough to facilitate a traditional contest between warring armies.
Most battles were fought in bloody melees using guerilla-style fighting, and generally ended with one or more towns being sacked and set to flame.

Strength
Sixty airships built in Stonefall by the Praxxis family. Each was equipped for air to ground combat; heavy cannons, bowmen, and a variety of bombs. Each ship also carried a small battalion of armored ground troops.
Casualties
Not a single ship was lost to enemy attack; however, three ships were severely damaged when the powder magazine on one exploded, damaging the other two flying in close formation.
Objectives
The fleet was divided into five squadrons, and took up positions near the borders of the region. Over the course of two days, the fleets patrolled, working their way toward the center of the highlands. At each city, town or settelment they found, the leaders were given one chance to surrender immediately and unconditionally; if they did not, the area was bombarded until nothing remained.
After two days, eight cities and several dozen small settlements had been wiped from the map. The remaining few established cities greeted the approaching ships with flags of surrender.
