Opa Firalan

Opa was the first Yashelin to die via smiting during the Astris Genocide. They had tried to save a drowning victim during the Great Flood, despite Sachi and Areta Maikir's gut instinct which urged Opa to leave them behind. Domini smote the victim, then brutally murdered Opa. Although it took Domini multiple tries, Opa had fallen in the water and could not escape.
There are two monuments dedicated to Opa, one small monument near the same spot they died in the modern-day Flood Wastes. The other, more famous one, is located in Bes. A statue, made in their likeness, pictures Opa playing a panflute. The epitath refers to them as Opa Firalan, honoring them in memoriam with a fitting Kivrian Yashelin last name. Unfinished Outline
