Reincarnation
At the conclusion of the First War, the Ida took a spiritual shard from the Serayin and select other members of the Ezekoru. These shards were then cast out, to find the perfect time and place in which to reincarnate. Ozim Laila is the only exception to the above, since she was created unconsciously by the universe long before the casting, rather than as a deliberate act of the Ida, who is (unfortunately, in this case) not omniscent.
Each reincarnation is defined in some way by the balance between fate and choice as they follow, roughly, in their progenitor's footsteps.
"The spirit remembers what the mind forgets." -UriUpon reuniting with their spiritual progenitor, the most commonly reported sensations are feeling a strong sense of kinmanship (progenitor) and deja-vu (reincarnation). The Ida blessed all reincarnations with a 'second life.' This means that although they may experience a mortal death, their spiritual selves will continue on in near immortality. When they reach Aravu upon their deaths, they are welcomed into the community, but most prefer to stay within the comforts of the Kivrian Afterlife.
