Alkus

Learning a lesson from the history of Sikaraa, Caldaraa fully supported the development of Alkus as another wave of settlement further into the continent. From that intent however, the impact has been that as Alkus was settled, the industries and resources that were supported were those that were in demand by the coastal people of Caldaraa.
As such, Alkus has always been a country that has never been fully independent whether that was intended or not. It is an open question of the Caldaraan Confederation of what, if anything, will come of that fact.
