Global markets tank, bankers jump out of towers, shit goes to hell. Corps buy in.

Global stock markets, previously on a steady upswing, suddenly fall rapidly overnight. Asian and European markets start a cascade: A few minor sell offs are explained as normal market behavior and corrections, but by morning New Hudson City markets opened with losses that almost immediately triggered trading failsafes.   Over the following weeks, markets were in freefall. Many companies closed overnight while others quickly picked over their remnants. Governments collapsed, others fell weak. Cash fat conglomerates quickly moved to bail out local and foreign governments, cementing themselves as having an authority equal to, or above the state.
