BMR NOTES 20/06/2022 - Meeting Green Grin
General Summary
Last time on bad moon rising:
After fleeing Phrankie and Josephines home town, you took shelter in the humble port of Crows Hop. You bumped into Eden, a werey Aasimar who had a ship and a small crew. She ageed to grant you passage to Oberon provided you helped her slay a creature.
You sailed toward Grey Hold and encountered a decimated WMTC ship. Stopping to investigate, you discovered a sickly black oil, with the deeply disturbing ability to mentally conquer sailors and drive them to their own death. Tarkan specifically, understands this thrall on a personal level.
Eventually you reached the Grey Hold arches. A towering structure that once linked the island of Grey Hold to the larger continent of Stor. Those arches have been long destroyed, yet now they drip with the same heavy black oil.
After some searching, you found the creature. An enormous black octopus, with crap like appendeges fashioned from the surrounding rocks. You bested the beast but not without cost. Your ship took some considerable damage but thanks to crash's remarkable focus, you made it out alive.
On your way to retrieve your firey friend, an ominous sight loomed in the distance.
Under an impossibly tall arch, sat the largest Ship any of you have ever seen. Blocking out the sun behind it, The objection, stands in your way. You four are in a battered and beaten ship, Eden is hurt and crash is still singed. You face a wall of cannons, as a crew several dozens large jeers from the deck. A red flag, bearing a black skull waves in the sky.
From the top of the deck, you see a ladder roll down as a rotten voice croaks across the water:
"It seems your finding yourself up shit creek lads. It'd me my recommendation you pack it in and come quietly. How's that sound eh?"

Pagliaccis Letter:
Dearest Comrades,
The material you supplied me with was indeed powerful. I'd heard whispers of some new concoction from Oberon, but the opportunity to work with it was a pleasure. I do apologize but in terms of explaining the material, its beyond my realm of knowledge. It's a conductor, an energy source, or anything else you could want it to be. So I find its exact nature... baffling. In any case, the ignots weren't sealed which was odd. Thankfully this works in our favor. With no seal your instruments won't appear as stolen to any experts. Though you may have trouble selling those ingots...
I would like to thank you for protecting Phrankathan on his journey. The public nature of your brawl unfortunately attracted some attention, though I'm sure any danger of being recognized will have subsided before your return to Ket. Milton intends on continuing the Ket tour for now, but we'll be in Oberon soon for Induction Day. I do hope our paths cross again.
Regards,
Pag.
