Adult Content in Baeleris
Baeleris is a setting that is inherently dark and caters more towards adults. As such, it is appropriately flagged, but I understand that there will always be readers who may feel uncomfortable with erotic content or extreme violence. For this reason, there is an "Adult" user group that one can join if they wish to read such content.
However, before doing so, it is important to be aware of the type of content you will encounter by joining this user group.
Adult content without NSFW flag
Some articles are not marked with an NSFW flag and are not exclusively readable by the adult user group. The adult content within these articles is enclosed in a container visible only to the user group. Inside the container, there will be a spoiler indicating the nature of the content.
The button will include an icon that provides a glimpse of the type of content expected. Additionally, common themes are noted as "tags" within the spoiler button. Someone who does not belong to the user group will only see content that does not fall under the corresponding content guidelines.
- (Homosexual Encounter F/F)Adult content with NSFW flag but without user group
In some cases, I want to make my content accessible to any user on World Anvil who can and wants to view NSFW content. In such instances, the articles are not restricted to the user group but are appropriately tagged using World Anvil's own tools. These articles also use the tag "NSFW" to be listed accordingly in the Adult ToC.
Such articles also utilize the article icon to indicate the type of content contained within. The descriptions for each icon can be found in the sidebar.
Adult-only articles
The final group of articles is exclusively accessible to the "Adult" user group. These articles also utilize the article icon to showcase the type of content within before opening the article.
While the icon itself only indicates the general type of content and degree (R-Rated to NC-17 with fetishes/kinks), the color of the icons serves as an indicator for the specific fetish/content one can expect. This way, each user can decide for themselves what type of content they prefer to consume and what they do not.
Icons and color scheme
The icon itself indicates the reason why an article is rated as "Adult" and the extent to which it applies. The heart symbol represents sexual content, while the star symbol represents violence and blood.
Colors
To describe the kind of content depicted in heart-marked articles, I use a color-scheme:
- - Bondage
- - S/M Encounter
- - LGBTQIA+ Encounters
- - D/S Encounter
Once I add more content that needs separate colors, I will add them here. For now, these are the things I will most likely write about.
