Sana Finnick
Sana Mirjana Finnick (a.k.a. Saja)
Sana Finnick is a well-known Mortavian adventurer, notably from the Nation of Pirovíz. As a Dhampir, she displays a rare combination of human and vampiric lineage, providing her with both remarkable powers and an insatiable hunger for knowledge. She is driven by intense restlessness and a thirst for the unknown. Sana travels the Mortavian lands in search of thrills, treasures, and the answers to old riddles.
Physical Description
Sana is a slender, tall woman with long legs and a narrow waist. Her body is well-toned, resembling that of a dancer, which complements her preferred weapon, the rapier.
Her body showcases the attributes of both her parents' species. She possesses the flawless, translucent pallor of her vampiric father, as well as the slender physique of her mother. She has gracefully curved contours, long and slender limbs, and equally slim and delicate hands.
The young Dhampir's face is finely drawn, with soft features, high cheekbones, and full lips. Her expressive eyes, framed by black lashes, are large and captivating. She has a button nose, and her cheeks often carry a delicate blush, lending her an almost innocent appearance. Her eyebrows are carefully groomed, following the current fashion in her homeland.
Style
Sana's fashion sense reflects her dual nature and varied lifestyle. For formal occasions such as balls and festivals, she prefers exquisite and flowing gowns composed of rich fabrics in deep, jewel-toned colors. Her outfit is adorned with intricate lacework and delicate embroidery, highlighting her beauty and sophistication. Sana accessorizes her look with bold jewelry and accessories that convey ageless glamour.
She prefers a more practical yet fashionable attitude in her daily life. She frequently pairs fitted jackets or corsets with flowing skirts, easily mixing comfort and style. Her color palette is predominantly dark, representing her fascination with shadows and the unknown. Sana accessorizes her everyday style with functional yet decorative belts, gloves, and boots.
The Dhampir dresses more protectively when going on adventurous missions. She wears lightweight, form-fitting leather armor that allows her to move freely while giving adequate protection. Her clothes are embellished with strategically placed pockets and compartments for carrying tools and equipment. Sana completes her look with a coat that mixes in with the environment, enhancing her stealth and fading into the night.
Sana's wardrobe always represents her sense of style, functionality, and the duality of her identity as a Dhampir explorer, regardless of the occasion or environment. Her outfits not only serve practical reasons but also express her personality and allow her to move with confidence and grace in any setting.
History
Sana was the youngest of six daughters born to the vile Vladimir of Düsterwald, ruler of Pirovíz. Her mother was a human woman from the lord's domain who had been summoned to the castle to serve as a chambermaid. Her mother, like those of her older siblings, was abandoned once the child was born, but the ruler's daughter was raised within the castle walls.
She was exposed to stories of distant regions and exotic locations from an early age due to the castle's habit of hosting travelers (after all, even the ruler must feed). All of this fueled her restlessness and desire to explore Mortavia's most remote areas in search of the mysteries she believed the whole world held.
When Sana reached the age of marriage but declined to wed one of the other lords of Mortavia, as her sisters had done, her father finally allowed her to embark on the journeys she had envisioned. There was one catch, though: she had to return to the ancestral castle every year to spend the Storm Nights around the Winter Solstice. Sana agreed to the requirements without hesitation.
She has now earned a name for herself as a bold adventurer who has no fear of danger and plans to journey into the Veilwood Enclave.
