The Ballads of Darkness

Golden chains and silver stains To the promised we linked, to us were restrained The night sky we learned, for darkness we longed When the moonlight was eaten we came In the shadow of peaks we laid Rattling the chains we began to pace Their song the air it all filled They danced and danced The song never ended For days and days no rest was relinquished Then dead'em became No soul no spirit no name Their force, anchored, and drained To the chalice, of blood t'was conveyed

The ballads were lost upon their recitation and the ascencion of Agmon to godhood.   The Dancers believe he hid it, because of its cursed nature it cannot be either destroyed or moved from the material plane.   However, even without the ballads, the dancers will try to recite it from the collective of their memories, which they scribbled in parchment a few years after realizing what had happened and decided they could use that if the true papers were not found in time. They are not sure if it will work without the real ballad however.
